About the Role
The Project Facilitator implements field activities to improve livelihoods and donkey welfare in Migori/Bungoma County, working closely with farmers and stakeholders to deliver project objectives
About You
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in rural development, social development, agronomy, extension services, environmental science, or a related field. They should have strong field experience applying sustainable development methodologies, along with solid knowledge in extension service delivery and experience in monitoring budgets and work plans. Experience in NGO environments, community development, and research is an added advantage.
Key skills required include the ability to motivate and empower rural communities, facilitate effective training, and communicate clearly through strong verbal and written skills. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and networking abilities, enabling collaboration with government agencies and development partners. Competence in IT, including basic Excel and database skills, as well as proficiency in local languages, is essential. The role requires someone proactive, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and flexible in working within a team. The ability to maintain confidentiality and ride a motorbike with a valid license is also necessary.
