Starting a ripple

"I’ve been an ambassador for many years and have been on several self-funded trips to see the projects. I’ve seen with my own eyes that what Ripple Effect does, really does work and I’m always excited to share my experience and knowledge with others. I love to have the opportunity to visit groups, churches and schools to talk about the work of Ripple Effect!" - Jackie, Ripple Effect ambassador

The role of a Ripple Effect ambassador

As part of the Ripple Effect ambassador community…

You will inspire others You will share your passion and enthusiasm with people of all ages to help families in Africa. You’ll do this in the way that best suits you. This could be giving talks, holding fundraisers or represent Ripple Effect at local community events. Whatever you do, you’ll open people’s eyes to the impact of our work and motivate them to play a part.
You will make friends You’ll get to know other ambassadors and will meet up from time to time with your regional group. A highlight of each year is our annual ambassadors workshop which is a fantastic time of learning, encouraging and enjoying each other’s company.
We will invest in you As a new ambassador you will attend an online training session. You’ll have the opportunity to link up with other ambassadors in your region and the ambassador office team are always available to support you. We’ll make sure you have all the resources you need for telling others about Ripple Effect and encouraging them to get involved.
