About the Role
To raise knowledge and skills level of SHGs, CLAs and wider communities on dairy value chain through training and experience sharing for sustainable dairy business development in the project area and neighbouring communities in line with REE’s Vision, Mission, Cornerstones and development approaches.
About You
The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of relevant field experience in value chain and business development, with strong expertise in planning, management, and strategy development, particularly within value chains. They should have proven experience in organizing and delivering training and workshops, as well as learning through project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The role requires a solid understanding of project financial management, including budgeting, and the ability to effectively train communities and extension workers. The candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across cultures and maintain productive partnerships with staff and stakeholders. Additionally, they should be results-oriented, with excellent communication, analytical, and information dissemination skills, supported by strong computer literacy. Fluency in English and Amharic, proficiency in Wolaytigna, and strong presentation skills are essential.
