Geoffrey Kihuguru

Geoffrey is a seasoned leader in financial services with deep expertise in corporate governance, strategy, and ethical leadership. As President of the Institute of Corporate Governance of Uganda and former Chair of Citibank Uganda, he brings strong board experience and a commitment to transparency. 

Geoffrey brings to Ripple Effect a deep understanding of governance frameworks and strategic planning, alongside a lifelong passion for sustainable development.

Paul Stuart

Paul qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young before spending over 20 years in international business. During this time he developed partnerships in a number of different countries whilst leading an international publisher. 

He lived and volunteered with an international NGO in Mozambique for a year and joined Ripple Effect in 2013. 

Hellen Machika

Hellen Machika

Hellen is a hands-on agriculturalist with over 12 years’ experience in farming and agricultural systems. She brings strong skills in community engagement, youth coordination, and capacity building. 

With a focus on productivity, customer needs, and streamlined processes, she is an effective communicator and team leader. Hellen supports Ripple Effect’s mission through her expertise in farm management, organisational partnerships, and commitment to continued growth and learning.

Joseph Kaggwa

Joseph Kaggwa

Joseph is a Chartered Certified Accountant with extensive experience in NGO financial consultancy and training across East and Southern Africa. 

A Fellow of ACCA and member of ICPAU and IIA, he specialises in financial management, auditing, governance, risk management, and strategic planning. 

Joseph supports Ripple Effect’s mission through his expertise in organisational capacity building, institutional health checks, and board training.

Margaret Azuba Semwanga

Margaret Azuba Semwanga

Margaret holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning, Management, and Monitoring & Evalution (M&E), a Master’s in Land Use and Regional Development Planning, and a Bachelor’s in Agriculture. With over 30 years of experience, she has worked with multi-sectoral teams on thematic reviews, action-research, participatory M&E, and capacity building for both government and NGOs. 

Her expertise in participatory training and learning actions supports Ripple Effect’s mission for sustainable development and community-driven initiatives.

Jim Drani Drileba

Jim is a risk and advisory expert with over 14 years of professional experience in accounting, advisory and risk management related engagements. Over the years, Jim has advised numerous clients on risk and management procedures, executed various business process reviews, due diligence and internal audits, forensic and Investment advisory. 

He has a Masters of Business Administration and has experience working in Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania.

Christine Alupo

Christine is a strategic communicator with expertise in public affairs, corporate governance, and financial inclusion. With experience in executive leadership and stakeholder engagement, she brings strong diplomatic and organisational skills. 

A passionate advocate for consumer protection and financial literacy, Christine has contributed to global policy through the AFI Consumer Empowerment Working Group, and supports Ripple Effect’s mission with integrity, insight, and a focus on results.

Evans Nakhokho

Evans Nakhokho

Evans holds a Master’s in Financial Services and Banking, a Bachelor’s in Economics and Rural Economy, and a Certificate in Agricultural Finance. With experience at Centenary Bank, Equity Bank, and the Institute of Bankers, he brings strong expertise in agriculture and finance. Passionate about financial inclusion and rural development, Evans supports Ripple Effect’s mission by developing tailored financial solutions that promote sustainable growth for smallholder farmers and rural communities.

Daniel Mutumba

Daniel Mutumba

Daniel holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Makerere University. With 20+ years’ experience in finance, audit, risk, and programme management, he has overseen multi-million-dollar funding from global donors. A member of PMI, IIA, ACFE, and others, he is passionate about corporate governance and board leadership. Daniel supports Ripple Effect’s mission through his strategic expertise and commitment to accountable, impactful development.
