Families who receive a cow from Ripple Effect promise to pass on the first-born female calf to another local family.
In time, this cow will produce nutritious milk for the families’ children, along with a supply of manure which acts as an excellent fertiliser to help crops grow and thrive. Surplus milk and crops can also be sold for vital income so the family can afford household essentials and to keep their children in school.
