By combining sector expertise with strong networks, the Taskforce helps ensure Ripple Effect is well positioned to engage the right partners and grow our support for smallholder farmers across eastern Africa.
Meet the Taskforce members
Sasha Notley
Director of Technical and Sustainability, Fortnum & Mason
Sasha Notley leads sustainability at Fortnum & Mason, driving the Future Matters strategy and advancing responsible sourcing across supply chains.
With over 30 years’ experience across manufacturing and retail, she focuses on building strong partnerships with producers and promoting regenerative and transparent practices across the sector.
David Neville
Group CEO, Volac Group
David Neville is Group CEO and Owner of Volac Group. He has been with the business since 1992, holding several commercial roles before leading the Animal Nutrition division for over 20 years.
He has since guided Volac through significant transformation, shaping it into a leading ruminant nutrition and additives business. David also serves as Managing Director of Volac’s Feed Ingredients business and Chairman of Volac Wilmar Feed Ingredients, a global joint venture.
Josiah Meldrum
Co-founder, Hodmedod
Josiah Meldrum is co-founder of Hodmedod, a UK-based business working to advance agroecological food systems by placing pulses at the centre of farming and diets.
Under his leadership, Hodmedod has helped revive British pulses, including pioneering the country’s first commercial lentil and chickpea harvests. The company works closely with farmers to improve soil health, reduce reliance on synthetic inputs, and expand access to new markets.
Andy Richardson
Chairman, Frive
Andy Richardson brings over 30 years of senior experience across the agri-food sector, including roles with Unilever, BOCM Pauls and Volac.
He has worked closely with UK and devolved governments, advising during key periods such as Brexit, COVID-19 and the Ukraine crisis. He was awarded an MBE in 2025 for his services to the food and drink sector.
He currently serves as Chairman of Frive, is a Partner at EFFP, and supports several charitable organisations.
Duncan Moir
President, Starbucks Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
Duncan Moir leads Starbucks’ strategy, growth and operations across more than 4,500 stores in 40 countries.
He previously led Global Channel Development, where he helped establish the Global Coffee Alliance with Nestlé, expanding access to Starbucks products worldwide. Before joining Starbucks, he held senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Unilever.
Kelly Perry
Global Head of Sustainability, Domestic & General
Kelly Perry leads sustainability strategy at Domestic & General, embedding responsible practices across operations and decision-making.
With experience across both public and private sectors, she brings expertise in sustainability strategy, regulation and emerging trends. She works with senior leaders and policymakers to drive solutions that balance commercial performance with environmental and social impact. Kelly is also an ambassador for several not-for-profits and founder of Kelly’s Eco Warriors.
