Women Leaders
£23.00
This Women Leaders charity gift is the perfect gift for empowering girls and women.
With gifts like this, women and girls can reach their potential and go after their dreams. We work with communities in rural Africa to open up the discussion on the roles of men, women, boys and girls within the family and community to create a more equal future for everyone. This includes working with families to reassess roles and responsibilities at home.
Your gift empowers community leaders like Jenipher.
Jenipher is a powerful catalyst for change in her community. Inspired by the transformation she’s experienced through Ripple Effect, she eagerly shares her knowledge with others. Starting with just two banana suckers from Ripple Effect, she built a thriving propagation business and now owns a fleet of seven cars that she rents out to generate extra income.

Why your gift has lasting impact
A Ripple Effect gift isn't a handout; it’s an opportunity. Your gift helps us reach some of the poorest families in rural Africa, enabling them to grow nutritious food, earn a living, and build secure futures.
We focus on long-term impact rather than short-term gains, and on support that's practical and relevant.
Our locally-based teams train families to:
- Farm sustainably and protect their land.
- Include everyone in the household and share tasks fairly.
- Develop their small businesses and financial independence.
Farming families are so committed to change that they share what they learn and grow with others. This creates a ripple effect that transforms communities far beyond our programmes.
About your gift:
