Thriving Trees
£23.00
This Thriving Trees charity gift takes in CO2 and releases oxygen, cleaning our air and helping to tackle the climate crisis.
Trees often provide fruit and nuts that are packed with vitamins and nutrients to keep families healthy. Any surplus can be sold for vital income, helping families save for the future. Planting trees can help prevent soil erosion and put important nutrients back into the soil making the land more fertile, ensuring families can produce a healthy crop for years to come.
Your gift helps mothers like Lucy.
Before working with Ripple Effect, Lucy struggled to make the most of her land, nourish her soil, and grow enough food for her family. Deforestation for firewood and the effects of the worsening climate crisis left her land bare, vulnerable to soil erosion. Now, Lucy has begun planting trees to combat erosion, restore soil health and feed her family.

Why your gift has lasting impact
A Ripple Effect gift isn't a handout; it’s an opportunity. Your gift helps us reach some of the poorest families in rural Africa, enabling them to grow nutritious food, earn a living, and build secure futures.
We focus on long-term impact rather than short-term gains, and on support that's practical and relevant.
Our locally-based teams train families to:
- Farm sustainably and protect their land.
- Include everyone in the household and share tasks fairly.
- Develop their small businesses and financial independence.
Farming families are so committed to change that they share what they learn and grow with others. This creates a ripple effect that transforms communities far beyond our programmes.
About your gift:
- How we use your gift: wherever the need is greatest across the countries we work in, making a huge difference to the lives of families in rural Africa.
- Gift cards and other items: sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post within five working days of receiving your order.
- E-gift cards: sent directly to the recipient on the date you choose.
