An energy-saving super stove, built from natural materials such as clay, makes a home safer and protects the environment too. Traditional cooking fires can produce lots of smoke which is harmful to health. An energy-saving super stove directs smoke away from the cooking area so families can gather safely. Using two-thirds less fuel than traditional stoves, super stoves prevent deforestation and free up the time it takes to collect wood.

During my training I learned to make an energy-saving stove. I can now cook any kind of food even though my grandmother is still more interested in eating bananas! My old stove consumed too much firewood, but my energy-saving stove uses much less. It saves time and we’re no longer coughing because of the smoke indoors.
