Glorious Goat
£35.00
A Glorious Goat helps families in rural Africa grow strong with fresh milk, fertile soil, and the chance to share their success with others.
A goat is perfect for families as they develop an organic sustainable farm that can produce enough to keep them healthy. A dairy goat provides milk which is a valuable source of protein for happy and healthy children, along with a constant supply of soil-boosting manure to nourish their land and grow abundant crops. As goats have kids, not only do families have a healthy diet and soil, but also more goats to sell or pass on to others in need.
Your gift helps parents like Florence and Samuel.
Florence and Samuel live with their children in rural Kenya where they earn an income from selling bananas, vegetables and beans. Their main challenges are growing enough to eat in the face of the climate crisis and being able to afford school fees. Since receiving a goat from Ripple Effect, Florence and Samuel have been able to improve their soil and crop yields with the manure.

Why your gift has lasting impact
A Ripple Effect gift isn't a handout; it’s an opportunity. Your gift helps us reach some of the poorest families in rural Africa, enabling them to grow nutritious food, earn a living, and build secure futures.
We focus on long-term impact rather than short-term gains, and on support that's practical and relevant.
Our locally-based teams train families to:
- Farm sustainably and protect their land.
- Include everyone in the household and share tasks fairly.
- Develop their small businesses and financial independence.
Farming families are so committed to change that they share what they learn and grow with others. This creates a ripple effect that transforms communities far beyond our programmes.
