Feed a Child
£10.00
Feed a Child gives growing children the nutrition they need for a healthy start in life.
Through vital training in nutrition, mothers learn to use fruit, vegetables and dairy produce to provide three healthy meals a day to feed their children. A good diet is vital to any child’s development; ensuring they grow up fit and healthy, can play with their friends and can concentrate on their studies. As families learn the best ways to plant and grow vegetables, and essential cooking and nutrition skills, they really can make the most of what they grow.
Your gift helps mothers like Selena put food on the table.
Before working with Ripple Effect, Selena’s children used to go hungry and were sick often. With hard work and determination, Selena has learned and implemented the practical solutions she needs to grow enough to eat and lift her family out of poverty. Her children are now well-fed with nutritious meals created from the organic crops that she is growing on her land.

Why your gift has lasting impact
A Ripple Effect gift isn't a handout; it’s an opportunity. Your gift helps us reach some of the poorest families in rural Africa, enabling them to grow nutritious food, earn a living, and build secure futures.
We focus on long-term impact rather than short-term gains, and on support that's practical and relevant.
Our locally-based teams train families to:
- Farm sustainably and protect their land.
- Include everyone in the household and share tasks fairly.
- Develop their small businesses and financial independence.
Farming families are so committed to change that they share what they learn and grow with others. This creates a ripple effect that transforms communities far beyond our programmes.
About your gift:
