Amazing Allotment
£110.00
This Amazing Allotment charity gift helps a community of farmers in rural Africa to set up an allotment, where they can grow food to feed their families.
An allotment is a place of community, friendship, hard work, and results. With training and support a group of farmers can set up an allotment in their neighbourhood, where they not only grow fruit and vegetables to feed their families, but also run a nursery where they can raise plants to sell on for income.
Your gift supports community leaders like Delphine.
In Delphine’s community, poverty and malnutrition are widespread. She once struggled to grow enough food to feed her family but with access to vegetable seeds and training, her community group now enjoys an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables to sell. Farmers like Delphine share their gardening skills so many others benefit too.

Why your gift has lasting impact
A Ripple Effect gift isn't a handout; it’s an opportunity. Your gift helps us reach some of the poorest families in rural Africa, enabling them to grow nutritious food, earn a living, and build secure futures.
We focus on long-term impact rather than short-term gains, and on support that's practical and relevant.
Our locally-based teams train families to:
- Farm sustainably and protect their land.
- Include everyone in the household and share tasks fairly.
- Develop their small businesses and financial independence.
Farming families are so committed to change that they share what they learn and grow with others. This creates a ripple effect that transforms communities far beyond our programmes.
About your gift:
- How we use your gift: wherever the need is greatest across the countries we work in, making a huge difference to the lives of families in rural Africa.
- Gift cards and other items: sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post within five working days of receiving your order.
- E-gift cards: sent directly to the recipient on the date you choose.
