About Ripple Effect
Established in 1988 (as Send a Cow), Ripple Effect is a dynamic and passionate international development charity on a mission to create a powerful and lasting impact. Our vision is to see a rural Africa that is confident, thriving, and sustainable, with a growing economy and higher living standards for all. At Ripple Effect, we've honed our focus on three critical areas: Sustainable Agriculture, Gender and Social Inclusion, and Enterprise Development. Through these pillars, we're dedicated to combating poverty and nurturing a vibrant, thriving African landscape that will thrive for generations to come.
About the Role
Are you passionate about inspiring people to create lasting change? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Legacy Manager to lead and grow Ripple Effect’s gifts in Wills programme.
In this important role, you’ll build meaningful relationships with supporters, helping them understand the impact a legacy gift can have on rural communities across Africa. You'll develop and deliver engaging stewardship, providing supporters with a positive and inspiring experience at every stage of their journey.
Through your work, you'll help secure sustainable funding that enables rural communities across Africa to thrive for generations to come.
About You

Ripple Effect is looking for an experienced and passionate Legacy Manager to lead and grow our gifts in Wills and in-memory fundraising programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of legacy fundraising at Ripple Effect, developing inspiring campaigns, building meaningful relationships with supporters, and securing sustainable income that will transform lives for generations to come.
You will lead the development of our legacy fundraising programme, creating engaging campaigns and supporter journeys that grow gifts in Wills income. You'll steward legacy supporters, manage estate administration, and work across teams to maximise long-term fundraising opportunities.
You'll have two to five years' experience in legacy fundraising, with knowledge of legacy marketing, stewardship, and/or estate administration. You'll be an excellent relationship builder, strong communicator, and organised project manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding supporter experiences and lasting impact.
By joining Ripple Effect, you'll play a pivotal role in growing a fundraising programme that helps farming families across Africa build sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
If you're ready to combine your legacy fundraising expertise with a cause that delivers lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
