Webinar: learn about our Restore project
About the project
Situated on the border of Rwanda and Burundi, Lake Cyohoha is the lifeline for thousands of families. Its marshlands, fields and waters provide food, income and security - but this delicate system is under threat.
Deforestation, poor farming practices, and the growing pressure of climate change are exhausting the land and putting families at risk of hunger and poverty.
Without targeted support, this situation will only worsen. The land around the lake is eroding and the communities’ primary water source is becoming polluted. Families are working harder for smaller yields, and the resources they depend on are disappearing.
In response, Ripple Effect has launched Restore, a multi-country project that will work with 2,000 farming families living around Lake Cyohoha to bring life back to their land.
Meet the team and learn more about the project
We'd love for you to join our upcoming webinar on the Restore project, taking place on:

This session offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the project team - Alphonsine in Rwanda, and Patrick and Prosper in Burundi. They'll share the techniques farmers are using to regenerate their land and would be delighted to hear your reflections or to answer any questions you have about the project.
