This Christmas, will you give the gift of education?
Give the gift of education this Christmas. Donate online between midday GMT December and midday GMT 10 December and your donation could be DOUBLED.
This Christmas, your gift can go twice as far! Thanks to our Big Give champion the Coles-Medlock Foundation, and a group of generous supporters, the first $62,000 in donations will be matched – doubling your impact for families like Immaculate’s. Together, we can help more families thrive.
In Uganda, mothers like Immaculate are facing the daily struggle of earning enough to feed their children and send them to school.
As is the case for many smallholder farmers across rural Africa, the climate crisis has wreaked havoc on Immaculate's crops. Poor harvests have prevented her from earning the money she needs to keep her family healthy and in education.
Her children regularly go hungry, and she can only afford for one of them to go to school. Because she is living hand to mouth, she doesn't have the opportunity to grow her income by doing things like setting up a small business.

Although they face many challenges, when mothers like Immaculate work alongside Ripple Effect, it doesn't take much to change their future. With your support, they could overcome extreme poverty so they don't have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, or how they will send their children to school.
