How non-specialist organisations can contribute to tackling Intimate Partner Violence
Ripple Effect is hosting an online event on Wednesday 13 April 2022 at 9:00 USA-EDT (Eastern Daylight Time), 14:00 UK-BST (British Summer Time), 15:00 South Africa-SAST (South Africa Standard Time) 16:00 E Africa-EAT (East Africa Time) to discuss how non-specialist organisations can contribute to tackling Intimate Partner Violence.
The one hour event will draw from a recently published report: Examining the effectiveness of a gender transformative approach in economic empowerment programs to reduce Intimate Partner Violence.
It summarises the key findings from research conducted by Ripple Effect Kenya and the Global Women’s Institute, funded by a Development Marketplace award from the Sexual Violence Research Initiative and the World Bank.
Ripple Effect will present a summary of the research findings, followed by a discussion and Q&A with a panel of experts.
