Reasons to Run

Anne

“As my family and I moved to Bath in 2020, it meant more to me to support a cause that had its roots in the local area. I’m really looking forward to running past the gorgeous Georgian architecture that is integral to Bath. Plus actually finishing it!!”

David

“I’m running for Ripple Effect because I want to help increase awareness of this wonderful charity, whilst raising vital funds to support their work. In the run-up to the three half marathons I am taking part in, I thought a 10K event was the perfect training run. It was taking place on Father’s Day, so I couldn’t possibly take part without including my 7month old, Otis, who kept me company all the way round. Otis proudly completed the event in his ‘racing car’ looking very dapper in his Ripple Effect charity vest. It was great to have a mini-ambassador to run with and we loved the opportunity to do our bit for the charity.”
