Garden Twinning Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
A chance to win one of three £100 British Garden Centres gift cards.
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Garden Twinning Giveaway run by Ripple Effect. By entering the giveaway, you agree to the terms below.
Promoter
The promoter of this giveaway is Ripple Effect.
Eligibility
- Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
- Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.
- Employees of Ripple Effect and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Giveaway Period
The giveaway runs from 1 July at 12:00, to 20 August 2026 at 23:59 (UK time).
Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible to win the prize.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
- Share a photo or video of their garden featuring their Garden Twinning plaque on Instagram or Facebook.
- Tag @rippleeffectngo in the post caption.
- Tell us why they chose to twin their garden in the post’s caption. Participants may also share any other thoughts or experiences relating to Garden Twinning.
Each qualifying social media post counts as one entry.
Participants who include themselves in the photo with their Garden Twinning plaque will receive one bonus entry into the prize draw.
Prize
Three randomly selected winners will each receive a £100 British Garden Centres gift card, to be redeemed in-store at any of British Garden Centres' 70+ locations across the UK. British Garden Centres Gift Card - Watering Can £100 | British Garden Centres
Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
No cash alternative is available.
Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the campaign period.
Entries featured on Ripple Effect's social media channels will not receive any advantage in the prize draw.
Employees of Ripple Effect and their immediate family are not eligible to win the prize.
The decision of Ripple Effect is final.
Notification
Winners will be contacted via social media direct message within 14 days of the campaign closing.
If a winner does not respond within 14 days, Ripple Effect reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
Content Usage
By entering the giveaway, participants grant Ripple Effect permission to use, reproduce, publish, adapt and share submitted content across Ripple Effect marketing and communications channels for a period of six years from the date of entry.
Where possible, Ripple Effect will credit the creator when using submitted content.
Data Protection
Personal information collected as part of the giveaway will only be used for administering the competition and awarding prizes. We may get in touch with entrants to confirm their first name, for use along with their submitted pictures and quote from their post's caption for marketing use.
