About the role
As part of the implementation of its program, Ripple Effect Burundi wishes to recruit a Project Manager for “Soil and Water Conservation for Livelihoods and Climate Resilience for smallholder farmers around Cohoha Lake” project. The project will be implemented in the Province of Kirundo. The role is based in Kirundo with regular visit at the head office. The Project Manager will provide leadership in the project area and represent the organization in the area, ensuring the successful delivery of the project, management of project staff, and management of the donor contract against the plan, budget and log frame.

About You
We are looking for someone who has a bachelor’s degree in social studies, Development Studies, Agriculture, or related fields, with rich experience in community development, particularly in food security and nutrition. They should have at least five (5) years of management experience, strategic planning skills, and expertise in budget management, fundraising, and proposal writing. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to engage at policy levels and identify funding opportunities. The candidate should be self-driven, a strategic thinker, and committed to Ripple Effect’s mission and values, embracing diversity and inclusivity.
