Contract type: Fixed term contract for 2 years with possibility of extension

About the role
As part of the implementation of its program, Ripple Effect Burundi wishes to recruit two Project facilitator for “Soil and Water Conservation for Livelihoods and Climate Resilience for smallholder farmers around Cohoha Lake” project. The project will be implemented in the Province of Kirundo. The role is based in Kirundo with regular visit at the head office. The Project Facilitator is responsible for effectively implementing Ripple Effect’s activities in the field according to objectives of the local project. The role will be at the forefront of project implementation, working daily with farmers and other stakeholders.

About You
The ideal candidate for Ripple Effect should have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or Diploma, strong field development experience, and skills in empowering rural communities, conducting training programs, and managing budgets. They need excellent communication, IT proficiency, Self-motivation, attention to detail, and a commitment to Ripple Effect’s values are essential. Experience in NGO work, community development, and research is desirable. Ripple Effect values diversity and inclusivity in its hiring process.
