About the role
Ripple Effect Uganda is a growing and dynamic international development charity creating a wave of change in rural Uganda. We are a partnership of experienced and committed staff, working with farming families in Uganda. We are all inspired by the need to create an even greater impact on hunger and poverty in rural communities that are increasingly threatened by economic challenges and the climate crisis. Together, we support families to learn more, grow more and sell more. They then share what they know and have with their communities, creating a ripple effect of environmentally sustainable change across rural Uganda. We are at an exciting stage in our history, as we have re-branded from Send a Cow with an ambitious new 2030 strategy to multiply our impact. The role holder is a member of the Uganda Senior Management Team and takes lead of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning of the Ripple Effect’s national projects in Uganda. This role holder works closely with the Country Director and Head of MERL to lead the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning tasks for Uganda including strategy tracking, project monitoring and evaluation, new project design, analysis, and dissemination of findings. Additionally, the role supports interpretation of M&E findings through analysis, facilitates beneficiary participation, and supports project managers to integrate the key findings into project reports. It also contributes to the design and implementation of M&E systems, provides training to country teams, and coordinates with other departments to ensure data supports organizational objectives and compliance. Ultimately, the role contributes to Ripple Effect's mission of sustainable development and positive change. |
