This time last week, together with a group of Ripple Effect supporters, I delivered 26,000 signatures to the UK Government urging them to take action on the climate crisis and protect families in rural Africa.
We have been blown away by the public support for our petition and we can't thank our supporters enough.
I am always inspired by the African proverb - ‘If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together’ and that's exactly what it will take to address this global crisis.
Not only are we working alongside families in rural Africa to fight hunger in the face of the climate crisis, we are now working together to champion change for the long-term. Thank you for being part of such an important movement.
We hope to report back with a response from the UK Government shortly, but in the meantime, Ripple Effect will be taking four policy asks to COP26 which begins this Sunday.
Thank you for standing with families in rural Africa.
