For 36 years, we've been working alongside farming families in East Africa so they can grow a brighter future, fighting hunger and the climate crisis.
Farmers in rural Africa face poor harvests due to the climate crisis, struggling to feed their children or afford education. Support our Christmas appeal to help them thrive.

We share knowledge with communities on how they can make their land productive and biodiverse, helping them to build food security in a climate-positive way. We base our training on the resources they own and those gifted by Ripple Effect donors.
We actively involve marginalised and excluded people in our projects. Our work embeds transformational changes in workloads, decision-making and respect, enabling members to work together more harmoniously and productively.
Once farmers are food secure, we encourage them to see their farm as businesses, to generate income and create stable futures. We support them with techniques and networks to help grow their revenue and provide for their families.

"My neighbours keep coming to learn from me, and it is good, because this is how we support each other to develop."
"There's a lot to be thankful for...my children are fed, and healthy. I feel so happy and grateful"
